Tessa Fuqua Artworks November Newsletter

November is blowing through quickly for me, literally, it has blown the leaves off our trees in our big yard and covers the ground like a sea of fading gold. I guess we will have to rake it up at some point! 🍁🍁🍁 

I am thankful to have enjoyed the fall colors at home in Colorado and in other parts of the country as we traveled to see our youngest son play some college football and to visit my aging parents (thank you for your good thoughts and prayers as my dad navigates cancer).

This month has also brought in a couple of art shows, both at the same art gallery, Spectra Art Space. Over the past 10 years I have joined in on their group shows regularly. Their cat-themed show just wrapped up (thank you to those who went by and much thanks to those who bought some art🙂! I only had one piece that didn’t go to a new home.) I am very allergic to cats in real life, but love to create them! I am participating in Spectra’s upcoming Tiny Art Show. It opens November 29. All the art is 6×6 or smaller!

On the acting side of my art life, I have some commercial work and woohoo! just got cast in a movie. Filming the trailer next month. Not allowed to share details yet, but soon… 🎥😎

But I am excited to share this special announcement! My daughter, Mikaela, and I are opening our online store, 2Tigers Art Shop, this week. We are doing a “soft launch” on Black Friday, November 28th. Mikaela and I are collaborating and gradually building collections of our art on products. It’s a fun and thoughtful shop with backstories and purpose behind every artwork we share on our products. Every month we will add more. We invite you to see our initial offerings. I will send a link to the store to you all on Thanksgiving.
