2026 has swooped in and taken off! Happy January, folks!!!

The holidays are way past us now and I am sure everyone’s minds are on to the next things. December was a full month of acting projects for me with commercial work and filming of the teaser for a movie. I have been cast in an independent feature film, Before Us.

“Before Us is a feature film about five women—strangers on a collision course charted by the meddling spirits of their ancestors—who wrestle with motherhood, purpose, and identity. As their stories increasingly intertwine, they find strength in community and the shared power of women across generations.” (I play a meddling ancestor😉)

It will be filmed mid-year and submitted for the 2027 Sundance Film Festival. Fundraising for the project is currently underway. If you are inclined to donate here is the link:

On the art front, I have been busy creating pieces. I have started a series of several paintings on recycled cardboard and a series of digital paintings. If you follow my social media, you have probably seen many of those posted. Upcoming exhibitions and shows are in the works.

2 Tigers Art Shop, my online collaboration with my daughter, Mikaela, had its soft launch in December. Wow! Thank you to those who shopped at our shop! We are excited to spread the love to you guys with our Month of Love product reveals. Every week in February we will add new products and specials. Besides Valentines Day, other important dates in February include the start of the Lunar New Year and ahem my birthday😁. Since I like to give gifts as much as I like to receive them, there will be a “birthday give away”. Stay tuned for how to be part of that.
